Wow! I've been completely scatter brained today. I can't put two thoughts together, so I want to apologize for how awful I know this video is. Basically this is a get involved speech. I think that creating a community or being involved in a group whether online or offline is imperative to long term success for your small business.
So many people, including myself, rely too much on promotions and discounting schemes to generate sales. I have been slowly realizing that my best clients are either people I have developed a relationship with outside the bounds of my work or people who have been referred to me by people like this.
Go out and get involved where your audience is. AND, have fun doing it.
