This article provides insight into the progression of technology and the collaboration between Apple and Intel. What really stands out to me is the design time cycle and how someone like Steve Jobs thinks about things. Starting in 2007 to design a new standard that will allow them to work with a tablet? Sorry to ramble, it just makes me wonder what ideas are in their infancy right now.


A TED Talk by Dan Ariely that I found on Trizle. How often do you think this happens to us? How often are we slanted in one direction or another by information design?
1. Take a period of time (maybe while you do mindless work at your job) and ingest as much information as you can (maybe podcasts) on a topic.
2. THEN give yourself some time to record whatever comes out of your brain.
3. Save what you record.
4. Revisit it.
5. Repeat

Somebody remind me about this later, but is this art? Don’t get me wrong. I absolutely love the design, but is it art? I spent a good portion of the afternoon and evening debating what is art, what is an artist, what is entertainment, what is design, and blah blah. What’s your opinion?
