Songs to work by and art to work for

I don't sell things, or advertise on this website, or not until now. I also wanted to keep this blog area as an informational area for my clients, but sometimes, just every now and then, something hits you right in the nose and you need to tell people.

Today, I was sitting at my desk and a coworker was playing his Pandora station. On comes a song that I haven't heard. I ask who the artist is:

"Hey XXXXXX who is this?"
"Ummm, let me check...Peter, Peter Bradley Adams. The song is One Foot Down."
"Huh, never heard of him, but I like the song."
"Yeah, not bad."

Simple right? But then the song gets stuck in my head and a half hour later I need to hear it again, so I Google Peter Bradley Adams and start listening to music on his site. I have been listening for the past two hours to the same songs repeating, over, and over, and over again.

So that's it. I love this music, I have placed a little Amazon.com link where you can buy this music, not because I want to sell you something, but if you like it you have the opportunity to.

How does this fit for our clients, for you the reader? I encourage you to find this, whatever music or inspirational piece it is for you. I am typing, writing, coding, designing and I don't feel it. I don't feel the pressure. Instead I am thinking about walking across campus a few years back on a fall day. I remember I had a 12:40 music theory class and I would sit in the lobby listen to music and read the State News. That's what good art does for you. Inspires, removes you from the present, and places you in vivid memories. This experience is something we all need to strive to create for others. One that inspires and moves them. So, how does this relate to my general readership of clients? Not 100% sure, but I know you all create things, so today, and hopefully in the future create "WOW" pieces that inspire. And think about this. What does inspire you? I mean REALLY inspire you.
